Jimenez, a key contributor all year long for the 21-3 Golden Eagles, keyed 2 final regular season wins to clinch the top seed…Had a game-high 27 pts. (6-7 3-pt.) and 4 reb. in clinching game vs. OW, and also chipped in 12 pts. and 4 reb. in win over Purchase to post a stellar 17-1 league mark

Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week
AJ Matthews – Farmingdale State

Matthews had 2 more double-doubles (23 straight), but no shot has been bigger than his FG with :08 left to lift the Rams to a 68-67 win at MSMC and give them a 1st-round bye…Had 15 pts. and 11 reb. in the game, after a dominating 24-pt., 22-reb. effort vs. Maritime…Div. III leader in double-doubles and reb. (16.0), 3rd in ppg (22.0) and blocks (4.0), and 5th in FG% (62.8%)

Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Jen Mocanu – Mount Saint Mary

Mocanu came through in the biggest spot, leading the Knights to the regular season title with a 64-60 win over Farmingdale State…She netted 17 pts., 4 reb., 3 assists, and 3 steals…Had 14 pts. and 3 steals in 22 min. in win over NYU-Poly

Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Amie Jefferson – The Sage Colleges
Fr., G, Albany, NY/Colonie Central HS
Jefferson wins the award for the 2nd consecutive week, as she excelled defensively in a 54-40 win over CMSV...She had a season-high 16 rebounds, and had a school-record 10 blocks, breaking her own mark, and sparking a defense that allowed only 17% shooting.
