Men's Basketball Player of the Week
Mike McSloy - Maritime
Sr, G, Kings Park, NY/Kings Park HS
McSloy, enjoying a stellar senior year, performed superbly in two Skyline games…The Skyline's top scorer (20.2 ppg) led the Privateers to a 62-55 win over Yeshiva, pouring in a career-high 30 pts. (12-20 FG, 3-6 3-pt.)…He also netted 20 pts., 5 assists, 3 boards and 2 blocks in an 80-76 loss to Mount Saint Vincent

Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Jethro Auguste – NYU-Poly
Fr., F, Brooklyn, NY/Everett HS
Auguste was simply superb for the Blue Jays...In his first career start against St. Joseph's-L.I., he poured in 33 of his team's 74 pts., hitting 5-10 3 pt. FG and adding 7 boards…He added 10 pts. and 9 reb. vs. Yeshiva, shooting 57% FG on the week

Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week
Jen Mocanu – Mount Saint Mary
Sr, G, Belford, NJ/Middletown North HS
Mocanu picks up the award for the 2nd straight week after leading the Knight to a 3-0 week…Averaged 22.7 ppg and 4.3 rpg…Had 29 pts. including game-winning basket as time ran out vs. W. Conn…Poured in 27 pts. vs. Lehman

Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week
DeAndra Scott – Old Westbury
So., F, St. Albans, NY/Caesar Rodney HS
Scott had a fabulous week as the Panthers beat Hunter and had two OT losses…She averaged 25.0 ppg (56.5% FG) and 11.0 rpg…She had a career-high 29 pts. (13-17 FG) and team-high 8 reb. vs. Hunter and then had 23 pts. and career-best 16 boards against SUNYIT

Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Megan Bowman – The Sage Colleges
Fr., G, Saranac, NY/Saranac HS
Bowman wins the award for the 2nd straight week after leading the Gators to a 2-0 week…She had a great game in a league win over Purchase, with a game-high 17 pts. (7-11 FG), 4 reb., 6 assists, and a steal

Women's Swimmer of the Week
Janet Marmol – Old Westbury
Fr., Syosset, NY/Curtis HS
Marmol was outstanding in leading the Panthers to wins over Mount Saint Vincent and Lehman… She won the both the 200 IM (2:37.27 and 2:37.05) and the 100 breast (1:24.24 and 1:22.25) against both foes, and was also a member of both winning 200 free relay teams

Women's Swimming Rookie of the Week
Charlotte Acklin - Maritime
Fr., Lewes, DE/West Broward HS
Acklin continued her excellent freshman year by winning 3 individual events and 2 relays for the Privateers…She won the 200 MR and 100 fly vs. both Brooklyn and MSMC (1:15.22 and 1:11.65) and the 200 IM vs. Brooklyn (2:30.72).

Men's Swimmer of the Week
Joe Tucker - Maritime
Jr., Merrick, NY/Calhoun HS
Tucker had a superb week, leading the Privateers to victories over league foe Mount Saint Mary and Brooklyn…Won the 200 free (1:57.34) and 100 free (52.73) vs. MSMC, and the 200 free (1:59.01) and 200 free relay vs. Brooklyn

Men's Swimming Rookie of the Week
Michael Marte – Mount Saint Vincent
Fr., Yonkers, NY/ Fordham Prep
Marte continued his excellent rookie campaign against Old Westbury…He captured three events – the 200 free (2:01.57), 100 fly (1:01.76), and the 100 back (1:08.30).
