Black was stellar in a 1-1 week for the Golden Eagles…He averaged 21.5 ppg (58% FG), 7.5 rpg, and 6.5 apg…Keyed league win over Yeshiva with a game-high 29 pts. and 7 reb., after coming up just shy of a triple-double (14 pts., 10 assists, 4 reb.) in close loss to Ramapo

Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week
Shaquille Cunningham- Mount Saint Vincent

Cunningham had an outstanding Cruzin' Classic Tourney effort…Averaged 20.0 ppg, 4.5 apg, 3.0 rpg, and 2.5 spg…Hit the winning basket in the last second in a 83-81 win over Methodist, contri-buting 10 pts., 4 reb., and 4 assists…Poured in a career-best 30 pts., as well as 5 assists, 3 reb., and 3 steals in 106-99 loss to Keene State.

Ibrahim Johnson – Farmingdale State

Johnson helped spark the Rams to a league win over Yeshiva in their only contest of the week…He netted 13 pts. (5-7 FG) and added 5 board and 2 steals.

Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Amanda Bender – St. Joseph's – L.I.

Bender stood out in the Golden Eagles' only game of the week, a 67-62 win over the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy…She tallied 16 points on 7-9 FG shooting and pulled down a game-high 15 boards, while adding 3 assists…She leads the league in scoring (18.2), is 2nd in FG pct. (44.8%), 2nd in 3-pt. pct. (38.3%) and 4th in rebounding (9.6).
