Patchogue, NY| In her third season leading the St. Joseph's College women's soccer team, head coach Emily Morphitis looks to bring the Golden Eagles back to the Skyline Conference Tournament in the 2021 season. The Golden Eagles finished 7-9-2 overall with a 5-4-1 conference mark in 2019.

Returners: After the cancelation of the 2020 season due to COVID-19, Coach Morphitis will lean on a group of six returners from 2019 to guide a crop of fresh faces in 2021. Among the returners is Skyline Conference Second-Team member junior midfielder Abbey Curcio who started all 18 games and finished second on the team with 23 points on eight goals and seven assists. Senior Savannah McMaster and along with junior Emily Ascoli will round out the Golden Eagle front line. Seniors Gianna Castilletti and Amanda Fabris will patrol the midfield with Curcio while junior Jemma Spitaleri aims to anchor the defensive end.

Newcomers: St. Joseph's has 19 new Golden Eagles including seven freshmen looking to step on the pitch for their first competition in the Blue and Gold. Junior Madelyn Hunter is set to make her SJC debut between the pipes.

When they begin: St. Joseph's College opens up the 2021 season at home on September 4 and will host John Jay College at 11:00 am. Skyline Conference play begins September 18 at Farmingdale.
