Women's Soccer Cruises By Yeshiva, 12-1

West Harrison, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's soccer team came away with a 12-1 Skyline Conference victory over Yeshiva University on the road on Sunday afternoon.

SJC improves to 7-3 on the season with a 4-1 record in Skyline play. The Maccabees slide to 0-4 overall, 0-4 Skyline.

Seven different Golden Eagles scored with Karlie Martin and Abbey Curcio both recording hat tricks. Brooke Esposito added a pair of goals and a season-best four assists. Savannah McMaster, Emily Ascoli, Alesandra Melendez, and Jemma Spitaleri all found the back of the net with Melendez and Spitaleri dishing two assists.

Yeshiva's lone goal came in the 52nd minute when Anjelica Feig put in a free-kick from just outside the box.

SJC keeper Madelyn Hunter finished with three saves on the afternoon with Yeshiva's Sophie Dubin finishing with 17.

The Golden Eagles return to Danzi Stadium on Wednesday, October 13 when they host St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn at 7:00 pm.
