Women's Soccer Blanked by Mt. St. Mary's, 1-0

Newburgh, NY| The St. Joseph's College women's soccer team was shut out, 1-0, in a Skyline Conference meeting with Mt. St. Mary College on Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles slide to 8-4 overall with a 5-2 Skyline record. The Knights improve to 7-4-2 on the season, 6-1-1 Skyline.

St. Joseph's was held to just four shots on the day, two in each half, as MSMC got off 11 shots with the game-winner coming off the foot of Liz Ellsworth in the seventh minute.

SJC"s Mikayla Ritter finished with six saves on the day with MSMC's Christina Kakavas recording three.

The Golden Eagles return to Danzi Stadium on Tuesday, October 19 when they host the College of Mt. St. Vincent at 7:00 pm.
