Women's Soccer Announces 2017 Schedule

Patchogue, NY| Second-year head coach Salma Tarik and the St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's soccer team announced the release of the program's 2017 regular season schedule on Thursday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles, who finished fifth in the Skyline Conference, went 5-13-1 and 4-4-1 in conference play, and saw their season come to an end at the hands of the Sage Colleges Gators in the first round of the Skyline Championship.
SJC will begin the season on the road with a quick trip over to NYU on Friday, Sept. 1 before beginning its three-game home stand on Wednesday Sept. 6, at Danzi Stadium vs. Rutgers-Newark at 7 PM. The Golden Eagles will also host Brooklyn College (Sept. 9) and CCNY (Sept. 12) at 6 PM and 7 PM, respectively, during the home stand.
SJC opens up conference play at home when it takes on sister-school St. Joseph's College (Brklyn) on Wed., Sept. 27 before closing out the month with an away conference game at Purchase College (Sept. 30).
The Golden Eagles are set to face Skyline Conference rivals and the defending conference champion Farmingdale College, away from home, on Saturday October 14. SJC will recognize its senior class and wraps up the regular season on Wednesday, October 25 in a conference tilt vs. Maritime College.
