Curaro Tabbed Skyline MVB Player of the Week, Carroll on WLAX Honor Roll

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday evening, and amongst the winners was sophomore Paul Curaro, who earned Men's VOlleyball Player of the Week honors. Additionally, senior Kristin Carroll appeared on the Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll.

Paul Curaro (So.) - Men's Volleyball Player of the Week

In a non-conference tri-match on Thursday evening, Curaro hit .283 and totaled 31 kills at a 4.42 kill-per-set pace. In a 3-1 defeat to Hunter College in the opening match, the Holbrook, NY native put down 20 kills and was credited with nine digs. The outside hitter followed the performance up with an 11-kill performance in a 3-0 sweep of New Jersey City later in the evening. Before play on Tuesday, Curaro led the Skyline Conference in total kills 207 and kills-per-set (3.23).

Kristin Carroll (Sr.) - Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll

For the third time in her career, Carroll graces the Weekly Honor Roll after posting five goals and one assist for six points in a 16-13 defeat at Hartwick on Saturday afternoon. The midfielder also contributed with six draw controls, four ground balls and two caused turnovers. The Patchogue, NY native is currently tied for second on the team in goals (11) and ranks third in total points (14).
