ECAC Release

Danbury, CT| The Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) released its 2017-18 Winter and Spring Academic and President's Honor Roll lists on Thursday, and among the conference-wide record-number honorees were 125 St. Joseph's College (L.I.) student-athletes.

The Academic Honor Roll acknowledges student-athletes who have a GPA of 3.2-3.59 GPA on a 4.0 scale for the current semester and have completed one full academic year at their current institution. Those on the President's Honor Roll boasted GPA's over 3.6. Seventy-five St. Joseph's student-athletes appeared on the President's Honor Roll while 50 were named to the Academic Honor Roll.

"Recognizing our student-athletes is at the core of our mission at the ECAC," said ECAC President and CEO Dan Coonan. "This program is a great way for us to celebrate the academic efforts of ECAC student-athletes, and we look forward to shining a spotlight on their accomplishments in the classroom."

At SJC, the baseball team placed a team-best 24 student-athletes on honor rolls. All eight members of the women's swimming team earned President's Honor Roll selections.
