Lopez and Dickson Named Skyline Runners of the Week

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday afternoon, and amongst the winners were junior Matt Lopez (men's cross country) and freshman Gianna Dickson (women's cross country) who were named Runners of the Week.

Additionally, senior Amanda Goldstein and April Sexton appeared on the Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll.

Gianna Dickson (Fr.) – Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Dickson finished fourth at Saturday's Bard Invitational with a 6k time of 25:27.4. The freshman was the highest-placing Division III runner and powered SJC to a second-place finish.

Matt Lopez (Jr.) – Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week
Lopez took first place at the Bard Invitational on Saturday, turning in the program's course-best 8k time of 27:04.0. SJC placed fourth in a field of seven and Lopez earns Runner of the Week honors for the second week running.

Amanda Goldstein (Sr.) – Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll
Led the Golden Eagles with 21 kills over two matches while finishing with a .300 hitting percentage. Goldstein added four service aces, four digs, and three total blocks. Team-best 11 kills in a loss to Ramapo on September 18.

April Sexton (So.) – Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll
Sexton had a team-best 33 digs, averaging 4.13 digs-per-set over two matches last week. Libero of the Week on September 8, Sexton was credited with a season-best 19 digs in a loss to Ramapo on Saturday.
