New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday morning, and amongst the winners were senior Jenna DeFina, Softball Player of the Week, senior Jillian Hummel, Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, and sophomore Emily O'Mara, Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week.

Additionally, senior Andrew Brust (MLAX), junior Ryan Decoursey (BB), junior Jack Gilbride (MLAX), graduate Gordon Shouler (MTEN), junior Jamie Trowbridge (WLAX), and junior Olivia Verderosa (SB) appeared on Weekly Honor Rolls in their respective sports.

Jenna DeFina (Sr.) – Softball Player of the Week
DeFina hit .643 with nine runs and three RBIs in 14 at bats last week. The outfielder became the program's all-time stolen base leader in a game one win over Sarah Lawrence on Saturday and went 4-for-4 with three runs and two RBIs in the same game. She's Player of the Week for the second time in her career.

Jillian Hummel (Sr.) – Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Hummel went 2-0 between the pipes for the Golden Eagles last week while recording 25 saves, a .694 save percentage, and allowing just 5.50 goals per game. The senior turned away 14 shots in a 9-6 win over Mt. St. Mary before making 11 saves in a 15-5 win over Mt. St. Vincent. She's Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in her career.

Emily O'Mara (So.) – Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
O'Mara recorded eight points on seven goals and an assist in a 2-0 week for the Golden Eagles. The midfielder won seven draw controls, collected five ground balls, and caused a pair of turnovers. She finished with three goals, four ground balls, and two draw controls in a 9-6 win over Mt. St. Mary before recording four goals and an assist with five draw controls in a 15-5 win over Mt. St. Vincent.

Andrew Brust (Sr.) – Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll
Brust posted .704 save percentage and a 3.43 goals-against average in two wins for SJLI last week. He allowed one goal on 10 shots in a 17-2 win over Purchase before making six saves in a 10-5 win against Manhattanville. Brust lands on the Weekly Honor Roll for the second time in his career.

Ryan Decoursey (Jr.) – Baseball Weekly Honor Roll
Decoursey went 9-for-18, recording a hit in all five games for the Golden Eagles last week. The shortstop knocked in eight runs while scoring six times and was 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts. Decoursey belted two doubles and two home runs for a .944 slugging percentage and was 5-for-8 with two home runs, five RBIs, and five runs in a doubleheader sweep of SUNY Maritime.

Jack Gilbride (Jr.) – Men's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll
Gilbride had seven goals, five assists, 12 points, 23 shots, and five ground balls in two games last week (SJLI 2-0). The attack had four goals and three helpers in a 17-2 win over Purchase before tallying three goals and two assists in a 10-5 win over Mt. St. Mary.  

Gordon Shouler (Gr.) – Men's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll
Shouler went 2-1 in both singles and doubles last week. The graduate was a 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 winner at #4 singles and an 8-6 winner at #2 doubles vs. Purchase on April 19. He went to post 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (#3 singles) and 8-0 (#2 doubles) wins against Mt. St. Mary on April 23.

Jamie Trowbridge (Jr.) – Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll
Trowbridge led the Golden Eagles with 12 points on nine goals and three assists in a 2-0 week for the women's lax team. The junior recorded a team-high eight draw controls, seven caused turnovers, and six ground balls. She finished with three goals, six draws, two ground balls, and two caused turnovers in a 9-6 win over Mt. St. Mary before turning in a six-goal, three assist-performance in a 15-5 victory over Mt. St. Vincent

Olivia Verderosa (Jr.) - Softball Weekly Honor Roll
Verderosa struck out eight batters and tossed a perfect game in SJLI's 17-0 win over Sarah Lawrence on April 23.
