New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday morning, and amongst the winners were junior John Lynch and sophomore Julia Ruocchio who were named Players of the Week for baseball and softball, respectively.  

Additionally, graduate student Mark Jensen was named Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week while Kevin Czeczotka (BB), Emily Fenezia (SB), Jillian Hummel (WLAX), Emily O'Mara (WLAX), and Jamie Trowbridge (WLAX) appeared on Weekly Honor Rolls in their respective sports.

John Lynch (Jr.) - Baseball Player of the Week
Lynch went 6-for-8 with three doubles while hitting at a .750 clip last week. The junior knocked in five runs while scoring four in a 4-0 week for the Golden Eagles. Lynch went 1-for-2 with two RBIs and a sacrifice fly in game one against of a doubleheader with Mt. St. Mary before drawing a walk in a pinch-hit appearance in game two. He went on to go 5-for-6 with three doubles, three RBIs, and four runs scored in a doubleheader sweep of Yeshiva.

Julia Ruocchio (So.) - Softball Player of the Week
Ruocchio went 4-for-8 with two doubles and six runs batted in through three games last week. The sophomore also walked twice for an on-base percentage of .600. She was 3-for-4 with five RBIs in a win over Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday and is Player of the Week for the first time in her career.

Mark Jensen (Gr.) – Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Jensen led the Golden Eagles in a 3-0 week with 39 kills, averaging 4.33 kills per set while hitting at a .524 clip while adding 21 digs, nine aces, and four total blocks. The graduate student had match-highs of 16 kills and nine digs in a 3-0 win over Ramapo before turning in 12 kills and four blocks in a 3-0 win over Mt. St. Vincent. He was credited with 11 kills and a .563 hitting percentage in a 3-0 sweep over SJC-Brooklyn.

Kevin Czeczotka (Sr.) - Baseball Weekly Honor Roll
Tossed a complete-game shutout against Mt. St. Mary. The senior allowed just two hits while striking out seven and held the Knights to a .091 batting average.

Emily Fenezia (Fr.) - Softball Weekly Honor Roll
Fenezia hit .417 through four games last week and collected three RBIs and four runs. The freshman was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, a double, and three runs in an 11-4 win over Mt. St. Vincent on Saturday. 

Jillian Hummel (Sr.) - Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll
Hummel posted a .692 save percentage last week and had seven saves in the second half of a 16-9 win over Ramapo before turning in a 20-save performance with a .714 save percentage against SUNY Maritime.

Emily O'Mara (So.) - Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll
Led the Golden Eagles with nine points on five goals and four assists in a 1-1 week. O'Mara added eight draw controls, three ground balls, and two caused turnovers and tallied three goals and three assists in a win over Ramapo. Went on to score two goals and an assist with six draw controls against Maritime.

Jamie Trowbridge (Jr.) - Women's Lacrosse Weekly Honor Roll
Collected eight points on six goals and two assists in a 1-1 week for the Golden Eagles. The junior added a team-best eight draw controls and six ground balls while causing five turnovers. Trowbridge had three goals and two assists with seven draws and four caused turnovers in a win over Ramapo.
