In the early moments of the match Mt. St. Mary wasted no time finding the back of the net as Raina Quinones found Hansen for the goal three minutes into action

The Golden Eagles responded just nine minutes later when Cruz found space for an opportunity off the assist from Ramcke to tie the game at one

SJLI would take their first lead of the match in the 29th minute when Urbancik was able to beat the keeper of an unassisted goal

Later into the second half St. Joseph's built upon their lead pulling ahead 3-1 when Furey scored off the pass from Esposito

The Knights looked to build a comeback when Mihale found space for a chance to put it away in the goal to cut the lead to just one in the 76th minute

SJLI was able to hold off the MSMC's attack for the remainder of the match as they secured the 3-2 victory
