Women's Soccer Championship Field Set
NEW YORK I The six-team field is now set for the 2023 Skyline Conference Women's Soccer Championship.

Defending champion No. 1 Sarah Lawrence headlines the field and is looking to make it back-to-back championships this fall. The Gryphons finished the regular season 9-0-2 to clinch the top seed in the tournament. No. 2 Farmingdale State follows with an 8-2-1 mark, narrowly eclipsing a congested field from 3-6 in the seeding.
Mount Saint Vincent is seeded third at 7-1-3, while St. Joseph's-Long Island (7-4) owns the three-way tiebreaker for the fourth seed (head-to-head, cumulative record against the other teams). U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (6-2-3) is fifth. Mount Saint Mary (6-2-3) is sixth.
The tournament gets underway in the First Round tomorrow.
The opening game of the tournament will feature No. 6 MSMC at No. 3 CMSV Saturday at noon. No. 5 USMMA at No. 4 SJ-LI also gets underway at noon.
The winner of 5/4 matchup will head to Bronxville on Wednesday, Nov. 1 to square off against Sarah Lawrence in the semifinals. The winner of 6/3 match will travel to Farmingdale to face the Rams in the other semifinal Wednesday. Times to be announced.
