  • Neither side built a lead larger than five for the remainder of the frame and OW's Max Weinberg jumper with less than a minute on the clock sent the hosts into the break leading 34-31

  • Both sides exchanged baskets to open up the second half before a pair of Tabada free throws and a layup from Malloy gave SJLI their first lead, 44-43, since the 5:24 mark in the first half

  • OW's Timothy Park hit from long range to put the Panthers ahead 58-52 with 7:58 left on the clock

  • An 8-0 run in favor of the Golden Eagles gave the visitors a 60-58 lead with just over five minutes remaining

  • With 1:42 on the clock, Old Westbury's Chris Smith dropped in a jumper knotting the score at 64, but free throws from Tababa and Allen iced the game for the Golden Eagles as they came away with the 67-64 win
