New York| Junior Lanyah Ford of the St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's basketball team was named Player of the Week, when the Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday morning.

Additionally, junior Xavier Allen was named to the Skyline Weekly Honor Roll.

Lanyah Ford  (Jr.) - Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Ford led the Golden Eagles with 43 total points and averaged 21.5 points per game across two non-conference matchups. The guard added 17 rebounds (8.5 per game) with four assists and three steals. The junior provided a team-best 15 points with five boards against Bowdoin before turning in a career-best 28 points with 12 rebounds and three assists in a 66-56 win over Stockton University. Ford is currently leading the Skyline with 18.5 points per game. 

Xavier Allen  (Jr.) - Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll

Allen led the Golden Eagles with a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds in SJLI's lone game of the week. The guard shot 46.7% from the field including 2-for-3 from three-point range.
