Adomaites Earns Third-Straight Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week Honor

New York, NY| The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Monday morning and amongst the winners was freshman Alyssa Adomaites of St. Joseph's College (L.I.), who was named Skyline Conference Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the third-straight week.

Additionally, seniors Will Flohr of the men's volleyball team and Frank Basile of the men's basketball team appeared on the Weekly Honor Roll.

Alyssa Adomaites (Fr.)- Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week
Adomaites led the Golden Eagles in scoring with 24 points on 8-for-16 shooting in a one-game outing this week. The freshman also recorded three assists, two rebounds and two steals in a loss to U. S. Merchant Marine Academy. Adomaites is the Rookie of the Week for the third week in a row and leads SJC with 19.4 ppg.

Will Flohr (Sr.)- Men's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll
Flohr averaged 11.3 kills and 12 digs per game across three matches this week.  The senior recorded 14 kills and 14 digs in a home-opening win against Kean University on Friday evening. Flohr was also credited with 10 kills in matches with Division I Sacred Heart University and No. 10 Arcadia University. 

Frank Basile (Sr.) - Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll
Basile averaged a double-double of 21.5 points and 13.0 rebounds-per-game over two games last week for the men's basketball team. The guard recorded 19 points and 8 rebounds in a home loss to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on Wednesday and capped off the week with a 24 point-, 18-rebound performance at Maritime on Saturday. Basile currently leads the conference in scoring (24.5 PPG) and is fifth in rebounding.
