ECAC Names Kristin Carroll & Alex Guadagno Weekly Soccer Award Winners

Danbury, Conn.- The ECAC has released its report for November 2, 2014 and two Golden Eagles have won weekly Division III Metro awards.

Freshman forward Kristin Carroll (Patchogue, N.Y. / Patchogue-Medford) of women's soccer was awarded Division III Metro Rookie of the Week after scoring a goal in St. Joseph's College's 6-1 victory over St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn and tallying assists on both goals in the Golden Eagles first round Skyline Championship Tournament advancement against Mount Saint Vincent. The Skyline game ended officially in a 2-2 tie, but SJC advanced on penalty kicks, 3-1.

Junior midfielder Alex Guadagno (South Setuaket, N.Y. / Ward Melville) of men's soccer was named Division III Metro Offensive Player of the Week after blasting the game-winning goal against Mount Saint Vincent in the first round of the Skyline Championship.
