Women's Basketball Cruises By Sarah Lawrence, 101-57

Bronxville, NY| The St. Joseph's College (L.I.) women's basketball team captured a 101-57 win on the road at Sarah Lawrence College on Saturday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles improve to 10-4 on the season with a 7-4 record in conference play. The Gryphons slide to 4-10 overall, 2-9 Skyline.

Junior Alyssa Adomaites led all players with 34 points on 13-for 20 shooting from the field and went 8-for-11 from three-point range. Freshman Brianna Cordell finished with a season-best 18 points and completed the double-double with 11 rebounds. Senior Alyssa Signor also posted a double-double with 14 points and a team-best 13 rebounds with four assists.

Jordyn Medina led the Gryphons with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. Camryn Davis added 13 points with a game-high 14 rebounds and seven assists. Kumi Tamura pitched in with 10 points, five assists, and four steals.

The Golden Eagles led the game wire-to-wire limiting SLC to shooting just 29.8% from the field while knocking down 48.3%. SJC pulled down 59 rebounds as a team and dominated the paint outscoring the Gryphons 44-10.

St. Joseph's returns to the Danzi Center on Wednesday, January 26 when they host the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at 7:30 pm.
