Victoria Corcoran Appears on Skyline Weekly Honor Roll
New York, NY| Freshman Victoria Corcoran of the St. Joseph's University, NY (L.I.) women's tennis team was included on the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll as announced on Wednesday morning.
Corcoran went 3-0 in singles last week, picking up victories against Purchase, John Jay, and Farmingdale State.
The freshman registered a 6-0, 6-1 sixth singles win in a 5-4 victory over Purchase before securing an 8-0 fifth-singles triumph as the Golden Eagles surged past John Jay, 5-1.
At sixth singles against Farmingdale, Corcoran secured a 6-1, 6-3 victory, but SJNY was edged, 5-4, by the Rams
The second-seeded Golden Eagles return to action for a Skyline Conference semifinal match against third-seeded Purchase on Thursday evening at the SJNY OFC.
