MacPherson Named Rookie of the Week for Third Time; Three Golden Eagles Land on Honor Roll

New York, NY| Freshman Luke MacPherson of the St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) men's volleyball team was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week for the third time this season when the conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday morning.

Additionally, teammate junior Mark Williams along with baseball seniors Anthony Cinquemani and Ryan Decoursey were named to the Skyline Weekly Honor Roll.

Luke MacPherson (Fr.) - Men's Volleyball Rookie of the Week
The freshman finished with 12 kills in the Golden Eagles' only game of the week. Defensively, MacPherson added 23 service receptions with a team-best 10 digs and a block assist.

Mark Williams (Jr.) -  Men's Volleyball Honor Roll
The outside hitter posted a match-best 19 kills with a pair of aces in a five-set win over #14 Arcadia University. On the defensive end, the junior recorded a game-best 36 service receptions with nine digs, two solo blocks, and a block assist.

Anthony Cinquemani (Sr.) - Baseball Honor Roll
The senior starter tossed three shutout innings allowing just one hit while striking out two against Ramapo College, claiming his first win of the season.

Ryan Decoursey (Sr.) - Baseball Honor Roll
Decoursey finished the week hitting .429  going 3-for-7 at the plate in a split with Ramapo. The senior posted a 1.286 slugging percentage blasting two home runs with 3 RBIs, three runs scored, and swiped a pair of bases. In the field, the shortstop was flawless with four assists and a pair of putouts.
