Baseball Draws Shenandoah in NCAA Regionals

Tournament Schedule

Patchogue, NY| The 2022 Skyline Conference Champion St. Joseph's University baseball team will head to Winchester, VA to play host #21 Shenandoah University in the first game of an NCAA Regional on Friday morning.

The Golden Eagles are joined by Catholic University and the Stevens Institute of Technology in a four-team, double-elimination regional bracket as a part of the 2022 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship.

SJLI won back-to-back games against the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy on Sunday to win their fifth Skyline title and fourth NCAA Tournament bid.

St. Joseph's last qualified for the NCAA Tournament in 2018 and traveled to host SUNY Cortland. After dropping a 3-2 decision to #10 Salisbury, the Golden Eagles topped Amherst 2-1, registering their second win at an NCAA Tournament. In 2016, SJLI beat John Hopkins, 3-0, at the NCAA Mideast Regional.
