  • St. Joseph's added a run in the bottom of the sixth when Vicino knocked in Sanguedolce who singled to center to start the inning

  • Manger retired the Panthers in order in the seventh and secured the 7-1 win

  • Michael DeFilippo extended the SJLI lead, 3-1, in the bottom of the third with his second home run in as many days this time with a runner on

  • OW broke through in the top of the fourth courtesy of a two-RBI single through the left side by Mike Petrucelly

  • The Panthers took the lead, 6-4, in the top of the fifth when five consecutive base hits resulted in four runs

  • St. Joseph's evened the score with three runs in the bottom of the sixth. After Joe Hackal and Phil Krpata walked an infield single by Sanguedolce loaded the bases with one out. Two batters later, Lynch cleared the bases when he drilled a double into the right-center gap

  • Five hits highlighted by a three-RBI double by OW's Charlie Eisele in the top of the eighth put the visitors back on top 10-6

  • The lead was erased quickly as the Golden Eagles responded with four runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning. Hackal drew a leadoff walk and back-to-back base hits from Krpata and Sanguedolce loaded the bases for Maggio who singled to right bringing in Hackal. Lynch again was up with the bases full of Golden Eagles and again cleared them with a double this time to the left-center gap tying the game at 10 runs apiece

  • OW's John Dell'Olio reached on a fielder's choice in the top of the ninth but was erased when he was caught stealing just before Oscar Fajardo singled to left. SJLI's Josh Dannenberg then got Papageorge looking to send the game to the bottom of the ninth with the chance for the Golden Eagles to walk it off
