Adomaites Dubbed Skyline Player of the Week

New York| Senior Alyssa Adomaites of the St. Joseph's University, New York (L.I.) women's basketball team was named Player of the Week, when the Skyline Conference released its weekly awards on Tuesday morning.

Additionally, junior Xavier Allen of the men's basketball team was named to the Weekly Honor Roll.

Alyssa Adomaites (Sr.) - Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Adomaites led the Golden Eagles in a 1-1 week with 44 points averaging and 22 points per game. The guard shot 47.2% from the field (17-36) while shooting 6-for-13 from beyond the arc while addine 12 boards, eight assists and four steals. In a 67-47 win over Baruch, the senior turned in a 24-point performance shooting over 57% from the field with seven rebounds and six assists.

Xavier Allen (Jr.) - Men's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll
Allen led the Golden Eagles with 42 total points averaging 21 points per game in a 1-1 showing at the Sig Makofski Tournament hosted by Union College. The junior shot 44.1% from the field while adding 12 rebounds, two assists, a pair of blocks and a steal. In a two-point (70-68) win over Union the guard turned in a game-best 34-point performance shooting over 60% from the floor (14-23) and was 4-for-7 from three-point range. For his efforts over the weekend he was named to the All-Tournament Team.
